Our block paving specification.
The build-up matters more than the surface you see. This is exactly what we install:
- 1 Excavate the existing surface down to a suitable load-bearing strata.
- 2 Lay a Terram weed barrier.
- 3 Compacted Type 1 MOT road stone sub-base to a minimum depth of 150mm, with grading and new ACO channel drains where necessary.
- 4 Apply a layer of screeded washed sand and compact.
- 5 Supply and install block paving in the style and colour of your choice.
- 6 Compact, then apply kiln-dried sand to fill the joints.
- 7 Site cleaned and all debris removed.
